About The Event

About the Event

With great pleasure and honor, we invite you to the 23rd International Symposium on Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics (ISEM 2027) to be held in Budapest.

The first ISEM took place in Tokyo, Japan in 1988 and, since then, the Symposium series have continued to grow in numbers, significance, and international renown and respect, wherever their location, including Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, the USA, China, Canada and Greece. Following the well-established tradition, the topic of the conference spans from numerical modeling to data-driven approaches and measurement procedures in applied electromagnetics and mechanics.

Engineers and physicists from academic institutions and industry are encouraged to participate, and contributions of PhD students and post-doctoral fellows are also sought after. The conference will feature oral and poster presentations. Companies and research organizations will have technical and commercial exhibitions.

Budapest with 2 million inhabitants is famous for beauty and vibrant commercial and cultural life. Academic and business life, as well as touristic spots of amusements, lively center, pretty parks, majestic river, tall church spires and lavish spas: they attract millions of visitors to the capital of Hungary. The selected venue of the event—the Thermal Margaret Island—is a conference hotel located on Margaret Island, offering a peaceful environment away from the city’s traffic while remaining easily accessible from the city center.

Looking forward to seeing you in Budapest,
